The base chakra is located at the base of your spine and is the root of your subtle energy system. This chakra is about the gateway of earth and healing this chakra provides energy to the physical body, helps with fear and mostly provides grounding between the physical body and mother earth.

Base Chakra Therapy

Lay down, close your eyes and using your imagination create a red ball that you are able to move over your body – fill this ball with the colour red – place this red ball over the top of your Base Chakra (just above your genitals and slightly down towards your feet) and imagine that red ball slowly leaking the colour red down from your ball and into your base chakra creating colour and energy and peace in this area. Let the colour also wash throughout your entire body. Other - This Chakra is all about grounding so get your bare feet on the ground - stomp your bare feet on the ground! The ‘bridge pose’ in yoga is also very helpful to charging this chakra.
